STUCO UPDATE- The next Student Council Meeting is today, after school in the Media Center. Everyone is still able to join and attend. We will have games, discuss the upcoming Election and All School Party, and those running as representatives or for offices for the Student Council need to come prepared to record your 1 to 2-minute speech during the meeting. Mr. Dwyer will be creating a short video with each of you, so come with your speech written out or practiced and be ready to record it. Student Council Elections will happen on Wednesday, Sept. 13th, in your Social Studies classes.
Show Choir Members: Today is our first official meeting of the JMS Show Choir! We will meet in the choir room right after school. Be sure you sign up for the activity bus before noon or arrange your ride home for 4 PM.
Art Studio Club will be CANCELLED for today and will be rescheduled for next Tuesday September 19th from 2:45-3:45.
7th graders interested in trying out for basketball � there will be a meeting this Friday 7:10am before school in the Big Gym. If you cannot attend you will need to see Coach Alexander or Coach Barnes for the information.
Our first Desire 2 Aspire meeting will be Tuesday, Sept 19that 2:45. This is a mentor program for those who�d like a �big sister�. See Mrs. Baker in Guidance for more information.
